Higgins Digital

Higgins Digital is the software development company I founded to build custom websites, web platforms, and AI-enabled systems for businesses. This case study covers the company's own platform and delivery approach.

My role

Founder and web developer: brand, company website, service and project presentation, and end-to-end client delivery.

The problem

I was already building websites and digital tools, but the work needed a company presence as professional as the output: one that communicates trust quickly, explains services clearly, and shows real work rather than promises.

My contribution

I founded Higgins Digital in January 2026 and built its brand, website, service structure, and project presentation. For client work I manage the full lifecycle: requirements, UI and UX design, development, backend logic, deployment, DNS and SSL, and custom domains.

What I built

I built Higgins Digital like a product rather than a landing page: a black-and-white brand system anchored by the blue H mark, six focused services (custom websites, website transformations, e-commerce and product sites, digital products and platforms, AI, automation, and data systems, and optimization and ongoing care), each with its own detail page, and a Work section of 14 delivered projects.

The same delivery approach runs through client projects such as the Higgins Building Group rebuild and Lakeside Sport Club.

  • Brand identity, messaging, and a reusable design system.
  • Service, pricing, and process pages with a clear inquiry path.
  • Project case studies that lead with concrete work.
  • A repeatable delivery process from discovery through deployment and handoff.

How it works

Brand, content, and frontend are designed together so the company site demonstrates the standard it sells.

  1. Brand strategy + positioning
  2. Design system + UI components
  3. Services + process
  4. Project case studies
  5. Inquiry and quote paths

Key decisions

Use concrete work as evidence.

Project pages lead with delivered work and before-and-after improvements instead of broad claims.

Keep the copy direct.

The messaging focuses on what business owners care about: credibility, speed, usability, ownership, and a clear next step.

Treat the company site as a platform.

The site is structured to grow with new case studies and services without a redesign.

Tradeoffs

Visual polish vs. performance: Motion and rich visuals have to stay light enough to support a performance-first promise.

Founder brand vs. company brand: The site benefits from my personal credibility while presenting Higgins Digital as a standalone business.

Outcomes & evidence

Higgins Digital has a live company platform at higginsd.com and a public body of delivered client and product work, several of which appear in this gallery.

Scope & limits

Current services and pricing are published on higginsd.com rather than repeated here.

What I learned

Showing concrete work and explaining the delivery process builds a clearer service proposition than broad promises.
